Remember the John Hughes film, Planes, Trains & Automobiles? Remember the motel where Steve Martin & John Candy backed their rental car into the motel room? The motel in the fictional story was between St. Louis & Chicago. The real motel is north of Chicago about 7 miles south of the Wisconsin border.
