ROY ROGERS - POST TOASTIES CEREAL SPOKESMAN
Who doesn't love Roy Rogers? He was goodness personified. Even tho he wasn't my favorite cowboy, he was in the top 5.. I preferred The Lone Ranger & the Cartwright clan, from the Ponderosa.
Roy was a spokesman for many products & I have two commercials that he did for Post Toasties cereal. The ad that I'm showing you today has Roy riding up to the house, on horseback. He is with a young boy (I assume it is Dusty, his son in real life) & they go into the kitchen to fill up on DELICIOUS Post Toasties Corn Flakes.
It is a short & entertaining look into the past. Enjoy.

I was a RR fan back in the days when he was on radio Sunday nights on Quaker Oats and Mother's Oats. Roy was my man, but MAN, was that Quaker Oats hard to swallow with brown sugar. Fortunately, Roy went to Post Cereals' Sugar Crisp when he went on television.
