POP CULTURE - AMERICAN AUTOS (CHEVY - FORD - DODGE)
The second most important possession of an average American is their car. POP CULTURE. includes many things. Anything and everything that defines us as a society would be a part of popular culture..
It just makes me mad when people say the OLD TIRED LINE, about how dependable their foreign cars are. I am not writing this because of Toyota's problems. They screwed up. They're not perfect. I am talking about the big picture of foreign car versus American car reliability. The last 3 vehicles that I have owned were American vehicles, with a combined 1.35 million miles on them. Not one of them had to have an engine replaced or an overhaul. Only one vehicle had to have the transmission replaced. Another vehicle had over 565,000 miles on it. They were replaced because I wanted newer vehicles, but they ran BEAUTIFULLY.
Below is a video that showcases a lot of the American vehicles, with over 1 MILLION miles. I was impressed that one of the vehicles was a UPS truck. A lot of times big corporations don't want to deal with a vehicle with high mileage. They simply get rid of it, even if it runs well.
