According to this December 1975 comic book advertisement, Bugs Bunny's favorite food is in short supply. The newspaper proclaims a worldwide shortage, he immediately changed his diet from carrots to Hostess Cupcakes. The following day, the newspaper proclaims that carrots are back. I say, HOORAY, carrots are back. Bugs' reaction is quite different, he figuratively gives a huge yawn and claims that he has hardly missed them. The reason is, he has been gorging himself on Hostess cupcakes. 

I wonder why the photo doesn't show him weighting 50 pounds more? Oh yeah, I forgot, it's an ad for Hostess cupcakes.
