THE DAY JOHNNY CARSON NUZZLED ED McMAHON AND ED McMAHON PETTED JOHNNY CARSON
Johnny Carson was a true entertainer. Making himself look foolish meant nothing to him.
Ed McMahon was doing a live Alpo commercial with a dog. Ed set a bowl of Alpo down for the dog to gobble down and the dog wouldn't touch it. The dogs used on the commercials would usually be quite hungry. Being hungry, they would jump at the chance to eat the dog food, while the camera was rolling. Since the dog wasn't responding to the food, Johnny Carson jumped into action. See what happened on this video.
