Jack Swersie is a comedian and has a sense of humor that comes close to my style of humor. He also is a collector of vintage toys. He has made two music videos that use his tin toys as the band members. The YouTube video is posted below and a link to his website is also included. The link to his website has a second video, which he couldn't upload to YouTube.

The second video has Fred Flintstone with a bigger role, than his performance on the YouTube video. I am a sucker for Fred Flintstone. Hanna Barbera's creation is more lifelike than Jackie Gleason's creation of Ralph Kramden. In case you don't know, Fred was "SUPPOSEDLY" a parody of Ralph. It is funny, several years after Jackie Gleason had died, I met Joe Barbera and he couldn't admit the connection between Fred & Ralph. He CLAIMED that he always thought that Fred & Barney were similar to Laurel & Hardy. YEAH, RIGHT!!! One of the major reasons that Joe Barbera couldn't admit the connection, Jackie Gleason had supposedly threatened to sue. More than likely, both parties would have lost.

Getting back to the Tin Toy Rock Band, both videos are very entertaining. Besides a cameo appearance by Fred Flintstone, you can also hear the musical talents of Li'l Abner and Pinnochio. Huge iconic stars on a free video, you couldn't ask for more.
