Betty White was fantastic on Saturday Night Live. Eighty-eight years young and was willing to do and say anything. What a trooper.

Betty loves to play "naughty" and she does it to PERFECTION.

Betty White isn't a one-dimensional comic actress. She can play the polar opposite of naughty, and do an even better job. I feel her potrayal of the naive and slightly-dense Rose Nylund was her best work. She is almost perfect when she makes a ad-libbed comic line. Hardly any expression of humor on her face. I have posted an example of her incredible skill. Check out this video.

Two characters, from The Golden Girls, are conversing with each other. Dorothy Zbornak, played by Bea Arthur, is telling the story of how she was forced into marriage by her father, because she was pregnant.. Rose Nylund, played by Betty White, makes a silly and unexpected comment, which obviously wasn't in the script. The clip starts at the 57 second mark. Betty White says "You had a Blow-gun wedding?" Watch the reaction of Bea Arthur, her arm is shaking. She is forcing herself to stifle her laughter. Betty has an almost imperceptible teeny tiny grin when she she sees the reaction from Bea Arthur.
