I WAS FEELING NOSTALGIC - ATE SOMETHING I HAVEN'T HAD IN OVER 30 YEARS - GET YOUR MIND OUT OF THE GUTTER.
I was feeling nostalgic. I was in the grocery store and I saw a can of Mary Kitchen Roast Beef Hash, made by Hormel. I haven't had that product for more than 30 years. I remember my mother making it for dinner. It was surprisingly good then, and it is surprisingly good now. The best thing about it - THE KITCHEN SMELLED GREAT afterwards. It was a polar opposite smell to a fried fish smell. Everybody hates the smell of fish that was cooked the previous day, not so, with Mary Kitchen Hash.
I even took a photo of my diced meat and potato meal, while it was sitting in the skillet.
