Hal Smith had a big career in TV commercials and doing voice work on cartoons. He is best known for his portrayal of a lovable town drunk, on The Andy Griffith Show.

Hal Smith played Otis Campbell, a man capable of "smelling" an illegal still 50 miles away. Too bad he didn't use his God given talents for good, as opposed to using it to get SNOCKERED.
