How novel, a cartoon character who made good suggestions to the little rugrats. The flying mouse told them to  use COLGATE TOOTHPASTE.

Popeye also suggested good things. Eat your spinach and grow up strong like Popeye.

I listened to Mighty Mouse and I ignored Popeye. I grew up with good teeth and I get sand kicked in my face, because of my lack of Popeye muscles.

Except for those two cartoon heroes you would be hard pressed to hear any other good advice from cartoon characters. It is a shame, I think they owe something to their loyal viewers. Help educate them on what is good for them.

When I was growing up, my favorite TV morality preacher was Captain Kangaroo. He lectured the little brats on how to become a good adult.
