The Lucy Desi Comedy Hour was an hourly continuation of I Love Lucy. The last 13 episodes of I Love Lucy took place in Connecticut and the new show continued that storyline. The Lucy Desi Comedy Hour appeared approximately once per month. The show was on for 3 seasons and there were 13 episodes made.

Westinghouse was a major sponsor of the show. On at least one occasion, the entire cast did a 3 & 1/2 minute commercial for a 1959 Westinghouse appliance sale. The commercial starts with Fred & Ethyl pushing an old refrigerator to the appliance showroom. Westinghouse was offering a trade-in allowance on the old appliance.

A quaint method of advertising, using the entire cast for 210 seconds of airtime. I bet Westinghouse sold a ton of appliances after this ad appeared. If Lucille Ball told you to buy a Westinghouse, it had to be a good buy.
