I love cherries. Cherry pie is heavenly, chocolate covered cherries are decadent and fresh cherries are comfort food. When I saw these ads, I knew the photographs were enhanced. Just the same, my mouth was watering and my stomach was growling. 

Neither one of the products is made anymore. The first magazine ad is from 1944, it is for Brach's chocolate covered cherries. This ad really surprised me. I thought Brach's only made cheaper types of candies. Brach's was a Chicago candy manufacturer for almost a century and I thought I knew about the company's products. Granted, this ad was a little before my time, it still surprised me.

 

The second mouth-watering magazine ad was from 1955 and is for a Swanson cherry pie. YUMMY YUMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!
