David McCallum portrayed the ultra-cool spy Illya Kuryakin, on the TV show Man from U.N.C.L.E. During the early to mid 1960s, McCallum was considered a teenybopper sex symbol. He had a mop of blond hair and talked with a Russian accent, during a Cold War period with Russia. To adolescent pre-teenybopper girls, he was mysterious and sexy. 

Posted below is a comic book ad for the Illya Kuryakin (Man from UNCLE) LIFE-SIZE PIN-UP poster. The advertisement "claims" that the poster is "personally" autographed (yeah, right) and it can be purchased for $1.
