This commercial was made for an infamous muscle car, a 1970 Dodge Charger 500. The ad never once tells the viewing audience about the mechanical aspects of the car. It does imply that a nerd, to the hundredth power, can get a beautiful woman simply by buying a muscle car.

Do you think the same thing could happen in 2010, with a nerdy-looking girl (thick bi-focal glasses held together with tape & a band-aid on her right knee) driving the car on the beach, with the muscle-bound male bimbos running alongside, while drooling and ogling the 2010 version of a muscle car? Let us suppose that Danica Patrick is sitting on the beach, talking to the muscle-bound steroid users, when the female nerd drives up in a cool red GM Camaro. What are the odds the walking-muscles would dump Danica for the Camaro and run off with the dweeby girl? I would say, ZERO CHANCE.

What really would happen next?  THE DRIVER OF THE CAMARO WOULD BE KICKED OUT OF HER CAR, TO MAKE ROOM FOR DANICA. SHE MIGHT BE FORCED TO PUT A BAND-AID ON HER LEFT KNEE AND RE-TAPE HER GLASSES.

CHIVALRY IS DEAD.

THE MUSCLE BOYS MIGHT BE DENSE - THEY ARE DEFINITELY NOT STUPID. A BEAUTIFUL DANICA AND A HOT MUSCLE CAR.
