SAW A MAGAZINE AD THAT COULD HAVE BEEN ME, WHEN I WAS 5 YEARS OLD - I WAS CUTE AS A BUTTON - EVEN CUTER THAN THE KID IN THE AD
Hey, I was cute and I grew up into a handsome man - up until I was 29. From 30, until now - A LONGGGGGGGG SLIDE DOWN. I have to look at a mirror sideways, I don't want to take a chance of my face cracking the mirror. Like they say "Life Is A Bitch".
This magazine ad, from 1958, is for Alpha Bits cereal. I loved Alpha Bits. The simple fact that my mother bought the cereal implied that it was alright to "play" with my food. From 1958, until 2010, every bowl of Alpha Bits that has ever been poured, by every single kid (and adult) has been used to spell something. Try to deny it, I dare you.
