UNUSUAL BILLBOARD - JOHNNIE COCHRAN DIED IN 2005 BUT HE IS STILL PULLING PEOPLE IN TO HIS LAW FIRM
I was driving in the Sheboygan area of Wisconsin, and on the east side of I-41 was an unusual billboard. Johnnie Cochran was staring at me. Cochran was the infamous O.J. Simpson crimminal defense lawyer, who decided to begin practicing civil law after he grew tired of the huge work load of a typical criminal case. The funny thing is, Johnnie Cochran died in 2005.
The term used to describe a BIG NAME lawyer that brings in clients to a law firm is: RAIN MAKER. Most Rain Makers are breathing and are not lying 6 feet underground. Johnnie Cochran died five years ago. It is definitely an unusual billboard. It is also a testament of his huge celebrity status, as a top notch lawyer.
Personally, I really don't understand why a person would be drawn to a company that Cochran used to be involved with. It is not like that Johnnie will come back from the grave and help win their case.
