UNITED AIRLINES HONORING "OPRAH WINFREY SHOW" WITH SPECIAL 757 PLANE. KIND OF LIKE THE SOUTHWEST PLANES WITH SHAMU PAINTED ON THE SIDE?
Chicago's iconic hometown airline is producing a homage to the Oprah Winfrey Show. United Airlines has painted a special airplane to honor another iconic Chicago figure (who plans on abandoning the city after this season -25 years after the city made her a star) for the 25th anniversary of her infamous talk show. Oprah has recorded a message, which will be heard by all of the passengers that will board the plane, during the limited lifespan of the "special" Oprah 757.
Even tho the last time that I watched an Oprah episode was over two decades ago, I still respect her ability to attract and hold an audience. I was never a fan of her "fluffy" program. I was a fan of a more serious program, which was also an iconic Chicago program. Phil Donahue created a fantastic program with a wonderful blend of serious subjects and silly subjects, with an occassional celebrity interview. One of those celebrity interviews allowed him to meet his future wife - MARLO THOMAS. In my humble opinion, Oprah was "FLUFF" 365 a year (yeah, I know, she wasn't on the air 365.)
Posted below, a YouTube time-lapse video that shows the paint job on the Oprah 757. Someday, I hope somebody will do a time-lapse weight gain / weight loss & weight gain / weight loss & weight gain / weight loss & weight gain / weight loss & weight gain / weight loss & weight gain / weight loss & weight gain / weight loss & weight gain / weight loss & weight gain / weight loss of a certain iconic Chicago TV star.
