COOLEST COMIC BOOK AD, AND A VIOLATION OF FTC DECEPTIVE PRACTICES ACT, GOES TO - DRUM ROLL, PLEASE ....

Dean Studios, which is still in business in Des Moines, Iowa, used to place incredibly ODD ads in comic books. Unfortunately, the mean old U.S. government forced them to stop creating their deceptive ads, on September 29, 1960. You know, that same BIG GOVERNMENT that the moron Tea Baggers believe is evil for always meddling in their lives, even if it is to protect those same MORONS from being taken in by deceptive ads.

I came across the ads for an almost free miniature monkey and miniature dog. Anybody with a brain bigger than your average TEA BAGGER would know that it was a scam. Back in 1960, the common phrase was not a TEA BAGGER. The phrase that was used back then would have been - MORON DUFUS. Semantics - "a rose by any other name."

For your enjoyment, I have posted two of the ads that Sarah Palin might have been fooled by. If you are really interested, you can read the pdf court file, on page 832. Click on this link  to read about the U.S. government needing to protect the Sarah Palins of the world from their own lack of intellectual curiosity.
