ONE OF THE MOST HEART WARMING AND SWEET COCA COLA / SANTA CLAUS COMMERCIALS THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN
Actually, I shouldn't limit it to Coca Cola, or Santa Claus commercials. This is one of the best commercials that I have ever seen.
Santa Claus picks up a snow globe and shakes it. The "people" who live in the snow globe are gently shoved into a happy event. A young guy and girl are sitting at separate ends of a park bench. santa shakes the globe, and they slide next to each other. A lonely guy working in a grocery falls into a grocery cart, after Santa does his gentle shaking. The cart rolls over the entire town, with the young grocery clerk inside the basket. The cart finally comes to a stop inside a warm and inviting home. The family inside the home is enjoying a traditional holiday meal, and invites the lonely clerk to join in the festivities.
Not a single word of dialogue is spoken.
A comment from a 78 year old YouTube poster, says a very truthful statement:
It's so beautiful because it reflects how this generation feels: alone and insecure and this commercial wants us to understand that happiness is closer than we imagine, it just need a little push
.
Even tho I drink Pepsi and Dr. Pepper, and I try to get my Atlanta relatives to switch soft drink brands, Coca Cola makes the most INCREDIBLE TV commercials. Some day before I die, I might be forced to change my allegiance to the true master of the COLA GODS - COCA COLA.
