Both Superman and Santa Claus are able to perform majestic feats. The two super-heroes are able to fly around the world faster than the speed of light. They also have the ability to "see" into places that a normal human does not have the ability to see. Santa knows when you are asleep, and when you have been naughty. It is obvious that he has some type of special SEEING ability. Superman has the ability to to give a TSA body scan on every human, without using any expensive "Chertoff" x-ray body scanners. 

As a side note, if Superman has x-ray vision, why doesn't he have a permanent boner?
 
Superman has a fortress of solitude in a very icy region of the world, and of course, Santa isn't known for lounging on the beaches of Hawaii. 

Santa seems to have a "special" relationship with Coca Cola. I mean, he is always doing TV commercials for Coke. Superman, on the other hand, has a different CORPORATE MASTER.
