Davy Jones had a fan club during his pre-teeny bopper super stardom era. When the Monkees were on TV, Davy was equal to the Beatles in the minds of pre-teen girls. A few years later, the phrase "DAVY, WHO?" would be thought by the ex pre-teen Davy Jones fan. 

Davy's fan club was located at 35 Wilbur Street, Lynbrook, NY. For $1.00 you could join his fan club. An additional $1.00 would buy a poster, or a photo album of childhood pictures. I'm sure millions of dirty dollar bills came inside that Lynbrook, NY building. It was a money making machine. But that is ancient history. Things change. A biotech company  is now located in that building, and Davy is singing old Monkee songs to gray-haired grandmothers (who used to be pre-teen girls.)

Please, will somebody invent a time machine built inside a Delorean. i'm tired of going forward in the Time Space Continuum. I want to go backwards for awhile. I want to relive those carefree days of the mid 60's. 

If I go backwards in my time machine, I can come back to 2011 richer than Biff Tannen. A few bucks bet on the incredibly lucky 1969 Mets, (Cubs should have won - Durocher was a moron manager who didn't believe in resting the stars, who played every single day under the sun while the other team played night games) and I'd be richer than Midas. A few years further into the future, I could bet on future stock picks. Tell my younger self to take my 1969 Mets winnings and buy shares of Microsoft & Yahoo. I'd be richer than Bill Gates & Jerry Yang combined. 

Boy, this blog post has been one gigantic ramble. Starting with Davy Jones, and then using Back To The Future references, followed by the 1969 Cubs / Mets season, and ending with references to two billionaire nerds. Hundreds of words written, and none of the words were anything of importantance. The exact same thing that happens in 99.99999% of all blog posts the whole world over (and even more so on Twitter posts.)
