"THE ONION" REPORTS ON AN INCREDIBLY TERRIBLE ACCIDENT - UNSUPERVISED CHILD ON A BINGE OF 4 BOWLS OF A BOO BERRY CEREAL
The satire news reporting agency, "THE ONION" is reporting on a terrible tragedy. A 4 year old boy went on a four bowl binge of Boo Berry cereal. Dillon Jeter arose before his mother, on Saturday morning, and poured himself four bowls of the infamous General Mills sugar-laden cereal. The sugar induced hyperactivity produced a tragic scene. After Mrs. Jeter awakened at 7:15 am, she discovered a trail of the blue-colored cereal puffs leading into the family room. At the end of the trail was her child "intoxicated" with sucrose, dancing on one foot, in front of the television set.

Posted below is the packaging that held the ill gotten booty.

Paul Frees was the man "responsible" for poor little Dillon Jeter falling off the wagon and consuming a massive dose of Boo Berry. Mr. Frees was the first voice of Boo Berry, and supposedly still does his voice 25 years after his death.
Posted below is one of the first Boo Berry commercials from 1973, which was voiced by Paul Frees.
Besides doing TV commercial work, Mr. Frees would often dub dialogue for actors that had a stong accent. In the famous 1976 movie Midway, Paul dubbed all the lines of Japanese Admiral Yamamto.
Paul Frees did work for all of the major studios, and was the first voice of Disney's cartoon duck, Ludwig Von Drake which premiered on September 24, 1961. He also was the voice of Fresh Up Freddie. Freddie was a hyperactive bird that was the spokes-bird for 7-UP. Many of the Fresh Up Freddie commercials were done for the late 50's TV episodes of Zorro. Disney was the owner of the program, and 7-UP was the corporate sponsor. 7-UP had hired Disney to created an animated spokesman for their product, and Fresh Up Freddie was the end result.
For your enjoyment, I have posted a photo of Mr Frees alongside his famous Disney duck alter ego. I have also posted an animation cel from TV Toy Memories , which happens to be from one of the first TV appearances of Ludwig Von Drake.
