I WENT TO A BETTY WHITE BOOK SIGNING. I WASN'T SUPPOSED TO TAKE A PICTURE - I DID TAKE A PHOTO & BETTY PULLED A GUN ON ME. JUST JOKING.

I really hate peon book publishing employees, who are commonly found at celebrity book signings. I was recently at a book signing event for Betty White, and I'm willing to bet she didn't have any idea what those peons were saying about her. They were claiming that Betty White didn't want any photographs taken of her. Somehow, I really doubt that. Their motive was to get the long line of people moving as fast as possible. A photo would slow things down. The customers in line to get their books signed don't want a SLAM, BAM, THANK YOU MA'AM meeting. They want a personal encounter with a famous celebrity that they can remember with fondness. Unfortunately, celebrities that aren't knowledgeable about the habits of the peon "suck up" book publisher employees will usually follow their instructions, and usually without thinking about the consequences.

Those same book publishing peons are usually experts at "sucking up" to the celebrity. When I was in front of Betty, I asked her what was the address of the house where she was born. I knew that she was born in the Chicago suburb of Oak Park, Illinois, and I wanted to take a photo of it, and to be able to post it on this blog. I have taken photos of other iconic celebrity homes & movie location homes, which have a Chicagoland connection, and I thought she could help me in my quest. I knew that she left Oak Park when she was a baby, but a lot of people have a desire to track down their personal history, and I assumed she might be one of those people. Unfortunately, she wasn't one of those types of people, and she claimed that she didn't rememember the address. She told me that she was 1 & 1/2 years old when her family moved away. She jokingly said that she didn't have that good of a memory.

A comment like that should elict a minor chuckle and a smile. The peon "suck up" book publishing people gave a 3 second loud laugh - A TRUE SIGN OF BEING A "SUCK UP."

Prior to my books being signed, I took out my camera, and I accidently hit the video camera button. It was a good thing that I did. I was able to get a still image from the video, which I probably wouldn't have been able to get if I had gone for a still picture. It usually takes a little longer to set up the photographic still shot. As I was about to put the camera away, the peon book publisher employee told me about the NO PHOTOGRAPHS RULE. Hey, I already have my photo, and it didn't slow the line down. I mean, I can understand if they didn't want individual posed photographs with the celebrity. Something like that would definitely slow the line down. What I did was to take a picture while she was signing the books of the guy in front of me. Like I said, it didn't slow the line down, by even a tiny little bit.

Posted below is the picture of the book that I had her sign on the cover. I have also posted a photo of Betty firing a gun on me, simply because I had taken her picture signing books. The Betty White gunslinger photo was taken by another person, who happened to be behind me in the book signing line. When she saw that he had taken her picture, while she was firing the gun at me, she became enraged at the poor guy. She picked up the 275ib man and threw him against the wall. The 88 year old woman beat the poo poo out of him. Over 30 bones were broken in the guy's body.

Betty learned everything she knows about paparazzi beatings from Sean Penn.

FOR THE MORONS OUT THERE:

THE LAST TWO PARAGRAPHS THAT I POSTED ABOVE ARE SATIRE, WHICH IS PROTECTED UNDER THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

ONCE AGAIN, FOR THE MORONS OUT THERE:

BETTY WHITE DID NOT PULL A GUN ON ME. BETTY WHITE DID NOT BEAT UP A 275 lb MAN. IT IS A JOKE.
