ON THIS 130th ANNIVERSARY OF FRANKLIN DELANO ROOSEVELT'S BIRTH - A GREAT FDR QUOTE "DEFINITION OF A CONSERVATIVE"

ON JANUARY 30, 1882, A GREAT FUTURE-TO-BE PRESIDENT WAS BORN. FRANKLIN DELANO ROOSEVELT CARED ABOUT THE DOWNTRODDEN, AND WORKED TIRELESSLY TO CHANGE THE IMMORAL ATTITUDES OF THE WEALTHY ROBBER BARONS. THE WEALTHY WALL STREET CROWD "SCREWED UP" BIG TIME, DURING THE REPUKEICAN PRESIDENTIAL YEARS OF HERBERT HOOVER, WHICH HELPED TO CREATE THE GREAT DEPRESSION.

IRONIC HOW HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF - ISN'T IT?

ON THIS 130th ANNIVERSARY OF FDR'S BIRTH, I GIVE YOU A GREAT DEFINITION OF A CONSERVATIVE - STRAIGHT FROM FDR'S MOUTH.

"A conservative is a man with two perfectly good legs who, however, has never learned to walk forward."

I GUESS THAT ALSO APPLIES TO UNCLE TEDDY ROOSEVELT.
(UNCLE BY MARRIAGE, AND 5th COUSIN BY BLOOD)

Actually, Teddy Roosevelt cared a lot about things that liberals care about in the world today. Teddy helped in the massive expansion of this country's National Parks and National Monuments. A great testament to the liberal conservation viewpoint of a conservative President.

In my opinion, Teddy was the early 20th century version of Reagan. Just like with Reagan, Roosevelt had his conservative cronies constantly crowing about the supposed "greatness" of Teddy Roosevelt.

Just like with Reagan - greatness only in their tiny little minds.

A GREAT WAY TO COMMEMORATE THEIR POLITICAL GOD:

HEY, WHY NOT CARVE A MOUNTAIN INTO THE LIKENESS OF HIS FACE

(I'm surprised the Reagan "lovers" haven't proposed that idea for their political "god")

That is the only reason why Teddy Roosevelt's face is on Mount Rushmore. He wasn't a great President like Washington, Jefferson and Lincoln. I think Teddy's face should be sandblasted off, and then FDR's face should be the replacement for his uncle's mug.

Granted, Teddy was very instrumental in the conservation of this country's natural beauty. Of course, blowing up the side of a mountain to commemorate a conservationist is a bit ODD.

A REPUBLICAN WHO BELIEVES IN CONSERVATION - INCREDIBLE.

The Koch Brothers (billionaire owners of Georgia Pacific, Conoco, Union 76, Phillips 66, and the FINANCIAL BACKERS of the TEA PARTY) would never had voted, or contributed their hard earned (LOL they inherited it from daddy, who did business with mass murderer Joseph Stalin) money to getting Teddy Roosevelt elected.

If they had been alive during the early part of the 20th century, I'm sure their position would have been that Yellowstone should be leased to Georgia Pacific (for pennies on the dollar of actual value) to cut the "overgrown" forests. Maybe the land could be mined to produce a few shiny babbles to decorate the Koch Brothers gaudy 1901 mansion.

Hey, the 1901 Koch Brothers deserve it - they are important to the 1901 U.S. economy. They helped to create millions of 25 cents a day jobs, and BILLIONS OF DOLLARS of wealth for their wealthy buddies.

The 1901 version of the "Tea Party" (the 21st Century Tea Party was financially founded by the infamous KOCH BROTHERS - BILLIONAIRE MONEY LOVERS) would have probably destroyed Teddy's Presidential aspirations. He just would not have been CRAZY enough for the 1901 TEABAGGERS, and definitely not for the 2012 version.

I want to wish FDR a very happy birthday, and I believe that Teddy has a special gift for his young nephew (by marriage.) Teddy has been spinning in his grave during the past 30 years (since the Ronald Reagan inauguration - GOP isn't what it used to be), and he is planning on changing party loyalty. 93 years, and 24 days after his death, he has finally grown a brain.
